    FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is Affiliate Warehouse?
Affiliate Warehouse is a network that brings together our preferred contractors to access better wholesale pricing and supplier relationships. By combining purchasing power nationally, members can unlock pricing and opportunities that are usually only available to much larger businesses.
    Who is this for?
Affiliate Warehouse is designed for tradespeople and small contracting businesses such as electricians, air conditioning technicians, solar installers, communications technicians, and similar trades.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no upfront cost to apply. We simply review applications to ensure contractors are a good fit for the network.
    Are there any lock-ins?
No lock-ins and no obligations. If you ever decide it’s not useful for your business, you can simply stop using it. There are no contracts and no exit fees.
How do the supplier accounts work?
Members can gain access to supplier accounts that sit within the Affiliate Warehouse purchasing structure. This allows our preferred contractors to benefit from the combined purchasing power of the network.
Do I have to buy from specific suppliers?
No. You remain free to buy from wherever you like. The network simply provides additional purchasing options that may offer better pricing.
Why is there an application process?
We review applications to maintain the quality and professionalism of our preferred contractor network. This helps ensure the system remains beneficial for both contractors and suppliers.
    How do I get started?
Simply complete the application form. Once reviewed, you’ll be invited to book an onboarding call where we can walk you through how the system works and answer any questions.
    What happens after I apply?
After submitting your application, you’ll be able to schedule a short onboarding call. During the call we’ll explain the platform, show you how the supplier access works, and help you decide if it’s the right fit for your business.
What does it mean to be a preferred contractor?
A preferred contractor is a contractor that a company chooses to work with regularly because they trust them. Instead of using random contractors each time a job comes up, the company keeps a short list of reliable contractors they prefer to send work to. What it usually means in practice A preferred contractor is typically: • Pre-approved by the company • Trusted for quality work • Reliable and professional • Available when work is needed • Already known to meet insurance, licensing, and safety requirements
What does my company need to become a preferred contractor?
Electrical contractor's licence, ARC ticket, ACMA certificate, or solar endorsement.
What wholesaler accounts do I get access to?
TradeZone, Ideal Electrical, and Voltex. We continue to expand relationships with additional suppliers.
How does Affiliate Warehouse make money?
Each time a purchase is made through our trade accounts, our system performs a price check comparing standard trade account pricing to the pricing available through Affiliate Warehouse. This allows us to confirm the savings being achieved. When a discount is verified, Affiliate Warehouse retains 1.1% of the savings. If there's no discount, we don't charge anything.
    Am I locked in?
No. There are no contracts, no minimum spend, no exclusivity. You can stop using the service at any time.
How do I know pricing is improving?
You can compare Affiliate Warehouse pricing against your original trade accounts at any time.
Is this compliant with supplier systems?
Yes. All purchases are processed through normal wholesaler channels with the same backend access and full traceability. We operate within existing wholesaler systems and terms.
    Are there any lock-ins?
No lock-ins and no obligations. If you ever decide it’s not useful for your business, you can simply stop using it. There are no contracts and no exit fees.
    How are better prices achieved?
When our nationwide network of preferred contractors buys together and focuses purchasing through trusted suppliers, the combined volume delivers stronger pricing for everyone.

Using Affiliate Warehouse Accounts at Wholesalers

How do I identify myself at the wholesaler counter?
When ordering through an Affiliate Warehouse account, simply let the wholesaler staff know that you are an Affiliate Warehouse Preferred Contractor purchasing under their account. You will only need to provide your personal Affiliate Warehouse account number for the supplier you are purchasing from. For example, if you are purchasing from TradeZone, you will have your own private Affiliate Warehouse account number specifically for TradeZone. This allows the wholesaler to process the order normally while ensuring purchases are recorded correctly against your business within the Affiliate Warehouse system.
What if the wholesaler notices I'm not an Affiliate Warehouse employee?
That's completely normal. Affiliate Warehouse does not have employees. Instead, it works with Preferred Contractors who carry out work on its behalf and are authorised to purchase through Affiliate Warehouse supplier accounts. When purchasing, you simply identify yourself as an Affiliate Warehouse Preferred Contractor and provide the following: • Your job reference or purchase order number • Your Affiliate Warehouse account number for that supplier For example, you may have a separate Affiliate Warehouse account number for each supplier, such as TradeZone, Ideal, or Voltex. This allows the wholesaler to process the order normally while ensuring the purchase is recorded correctly and remains fully traceable within their system.
Am I allowed to purchase in person at the wholesaler counter?
Yes. Preferred Contractors can order in person, online, or over the phone, depending on how the wholesaler normally processes orders. You simply reference your Affiliate Warehouse account when placing the order.
Does this change the wholesaler's normal systems?
No. Affiliate Warehouse operates entirely within existing wholesaler systems and terms. • Orders are processed normally • Pricing and availability are set by the wholesaler • Purchases remain job-coded and traceable Nothing about the wholesaler's processes is altered.
What if the counter staff aren't familiar with Affiliate Warehouse?
You can simply explain that you are an Affiliate Warehouse Preferred Contractor purchasing under their corporate account. If needed, the wholesaler can confirm the account details directly with Affiliate Warehouse. Your order will still be processed through the wholesaler's normal system.
How are orders tracked if multiple contractors use the same account?
You have your own private Affiliate Warehouse account for each wholesaler.
Do I need to wear Affiliate Warehouse branding?
No. Preferred Contractors remain independent businesses. You continue operating under your own company name and branding. Affiliate Warehouse simply provides access to shared purchasing infrastructure.
What if a wholesaler has questions about the program?
Wholesalers can contact Affiliate Warehouse directly to discuss how the system works. Affiliate Warehouse is designed to work with wholesalers, not around them, providing increased purchasing consistency and volume while remaining fully compliant with supplier systems.
